The MKA Drill and Bolt (DAB) base connection is the newest product in the MKA lineup. With a simple and easy to implement design, it will save costs for the precaster, erector, and general contractor. Cast into the base of a wall panel, it allows for the bolting of the base connection to the foundation rather than costly welding. The MKA Drill and Bolt (DAB) is made in the USA.

The DAB is available with or without an anchor bolt, giving customers the flexibility to use the supplied anchor or source their own compatible anchor based on project requirements.
The DAB can accommodate several commercially available concrete screw anchors, including options from DEWALT, MKT, Simpson Strong-Tie, and Hilti. Anchor selection must be verified for compatibility with the DAB and the specific project requirements, including required capacity, embedment, concrete conditions, and applicable design criteria. The standard anchor bolt supplied with the DAB is ¾” diameter × 10″ long.
