The Original Ming Wing (OMW) is an AC468 certified, economical precast concrete connector that provides the industry standard shear capacity. The time-tested OMW has been used for the last 30 years in highly corrosive environments including over 700 precast parking structures.
The Ming Wing mini (MWm) uses a similar design as the Original Ming Wing, however the legs and faceplate have been modified to be used in 2 inch double tee flanges (for field topped applications) as well as the thinner wythes of insulated wall panel projects.
The Universal Precast Connector (UPC) is a multipurpose embed used for precast-to-precast connections in double tees, IT beams, spandrels, and walls. Make in the USA from a single piece of US Steel and designed to fit a variety of applications, implementation of the UPC will save on hardware stocking and fabrication costs.
The MKA Drill and Bolt (DAB) base connection is the newest product in the MKA lineup. With a simple and easy to implement design, it will save costs for the precaster, erector, and general contractor. Cast into the base of a wall panel, it allows for the bolting of the base connection to the foundation rather than costly welding.
